ΑΘΗΝΑ ΣΤΑΥΡΟΥ

Athina joined MSD in 2018 as the HR Lead for Greece, Cyprus & Malta, following a long standing career in other industries as well and mainly at Procter & Gamble Hellas. During the last 5 years at MSD, Athina managed to transform the way of working in partnership with the local leadership team and applied several programs and services that contributed to MSD being an ideal place to work. Being passionate about people and with an aim to make everyone feel safe to bring his/her true self at work, Athina and the LT activated an holistic plan that cultivates an environment of belonging, equity, engagement, empowerment and safety, where all voices are being heard equally. Her passion for DEI but also the experience she gained while working for different client groups in Emerging Markets & China, brought her to be also the sponsor of Women’s Network and New Generations Network of MSD Greece.

Overall throughout the 17 years of working experience, Athina has been exposed to various functions and geographies and has worked with different cultures and mindsets. This armed her with the ability to see the big picture, act as both a partner and a coach and being able to manage change efficient and effectively.

Athina holds a Master’s Degree in Services Management from the Athens University of Economics and Business as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Patras.

On her personal time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
